Executive Sous Chef Makenna Fundraiser Dinner

Chef Makenna Rai is the skillful mind behind Loqui's beloved variation of the Thai comfort dish Khao Soi. She has qualified for the Senior Chef Competition at the National Culinary Conference in Moncton, New Brunswick this May. She will be competing against 8 other Chef's from across the country. 

Much of Chef Makenna's trek to the competition is covered by the Culinary Federation, however there are many other incidental costs that this fundraiser will cover for her. She needs to pack ALL of her own equipment and supplies and fly with them all the way to Moncton. 

The fundraiser itself is a 4-course meal curated and hosted by Chef Makenna herself on Wednesday May 14th 2025

$100/per person. All beverages are to be purchased the night of the event and paid for separately.

HOW TO BUY TICKETS:

E-transfer $100/per person to kyla.kitzul@loqui.ca 

Include a message that states your name or the names of the guests in your party. 
You will receive an email from our reservation system [Libro] confirming your reservation once you are added to the list. 

50% of the ticket price covers your meal, the other 50% goes directly to Chef Makenna's trip to Nationals.
